Hi, I’m Gunnar 👋🏼

I did everything “right.” Got the degree. Landed the dream software engineering job. Then woke up one day realizing I was speed-running burnout and calling it success.

After years of cubicles, commutes, and obsessing over early retirement spreadsheets, I finally snapped. In 2022, I sold everything, quit my job, and backpacked around the world for 13 months across 20 countries.

That leap changed everything.

After returning home, surviving a brutal job market, and landing a fully remote role, I now split my life between working and wandering as a digital nomad. Along the way, I learned hard lessons about fear, freedom, money, purpose, and designing a life that actually feels alive.

This site is where I share those lessons — to help you dream bigger, explore more, and realize that the “normal” path isn’t the only one worth taking.
